The Kings Hall Herne Bay - Celebrating 100 Years

Written by Mike Bundock. The author tells the story of the Kings Hall and its forerunner – the East Cliff Pavilion. The book was compiled to commemorate the centenary of the opening of the Kings Hall that took place on 10th July 1913. The official opening was performed by Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Battenberg, and the royal visit to the town is covered in some detail. Some of the entertainments subsequently staged at this venue are also featured.
