Herne Bay in the Stone Age

HBHRS member Pete is a Palaeolithic archaeologist and PhD researcher at Durham University and is also: the volunteer curator of the lithics collection at the Seaside Museum Herne Bay & volunteer archivist and social-media advisor for the Herne Bay Historical Record Society.
A talk about how the prehistoric stone tools and fossils from beasts of the ice ages, which have been collected in the area for over 150 years, are now contributing to a new understanding of the ancient human species that lived in these lands over the last half a million years!
